are we cute yet?
Are we dating? Are we fucking?
Are we best friends? Are we something?
- The boy who takes your virginity is only going to love you long enough for you to stay in his bed.
- Your first job is never the best job. But you’ll meet some of your best friends there.
- Sometimes things don’t go the way you expect them to at all.
- People are usually never who they say they are.
- If you love someone, you need to tell them. Nobody is good at the guessing game.
- If your best friends don’t like the boy you’re involving yourself with, chances are he’s bad news.
- If a boy starts an invitation with, “Are you home alone”/”I’ll be home alone”, say no. You are a human being, not a toy to be played with.
- If some boy invites you to “the backseat of his truck”, he’s a piece of shit. Tell him to fuck himself.
- “Sorry” doesn’t always fix what you messed up.
- Stop wasting time wishing you could take back what you already did.
- You are at fault sometimes.
- There’s going to be a boy that you let get away. Yes, you loved him. It’s for the best, though.
- Toxic people hardly ever start off toxic.
- It’s always nice to make new friends, but never forget who your real friends are.
- Never lose the friends that would answer their phone at 3am if you called
- Never lose sight of who you are because of a boy.

So don’t let the grey world stop you from shining.
Summer | Calvin Harris
When I met you in the summer;
to my heartbeat’s sound.
We fell in love,
as the leaves turned brown.
And we could be together baby,
as long as skies are blue.
You act so innocent now,
but you lied so soon.
I love the beach; the way your feet sink into the warm soft sand, the sound the waves make as they crash onto the shore, how cooling the water is when it rushes past your feet, sometimes I sit there listening to the sounds of the ocean, it’s just so peaceful and relaxing, all my worries just fade away when I’m at the beach.
Im writing this as I lay on the beach. It’s cold outside, and very windy. I’m looking around me and I am just noticing things. The way the waves crash constantly, the surfers who won’t stop until they catch the perfect wave, the old man who is still running even with his knee brace, and the precious moment between the little boy and his dad flying a kite. The ocean, the sea, the beach. It’s magical. Go to the sea, lay in the sand, put in your headphones with your favorite new song, and just look around. A gloomy day has never felt so good.
